About US
CONSERVATION
Being born and brought up in the countryside, nature was never far away from my door step. My first twelve years of growing up was spent living on an estate, there I developed an interest in the breeding and husbandry of ornamental & game birds.
Beginning with bantums, ducks & geese I then progressed onto rare quails, pheasants, partridge, francolins and now for the past 7 years my passion has been grouse.
HUSBANDRY
The grouse species have a certain allure and challange for me, their character, behaviour and beauty cannot fail to impress. I have 8 Species of grouse in my collection at present and I breed them for breeding stock for organisations or individuals for conservation and release.
This website is to give you the opportunity to see and maybe learn a little about the birds I keep and how conservation and education can help give these birds a future on the moors and in the countryside.
